ASCENDANT

A young lioness lifts her gaze, caught at the moment she begins to step into her role in the pride. Painted in a warm golden palette, Ascendant is about rising: the quiet strength it takes to lead, and the future each new generation carries. Lions are listed as Vulnerable, and Africa has lost around half of its wild lions in the last few decades. Every young lioness who comes of age in the wild is a small act of hope.
